The scent is chemical-like, but I personally like it. I'm not sure about its effect on pores, but it feels like it moisturizes well.
I hadn't used an astringent lotion in a while, but this summer's unusual heat made me revisit it. The first one I tried was an Elixir. I was looking for something more casual and splash-friendly, and I came across the beloved Dolux. I hesitated before purchasing it, though. When I used it back then, I found the fragrance quite strong. I also considered this and the Dolux Eau d'Uvert (green bottle). I ultimately chose this one not only because of the price, but also because I noticed that it contains niacinamide at this price. The firming effect isn't as strong (it has the word "mild" in the name), and the scent seems a little milder than before (though the scent lingers for a while after application). The Elixir seems more refreshing and the scent is more subtle (but it costs about five bottles of Dolux). The bottle, which used to be glass, has also been changed to plastic. It's lighter, easier to use, and, best of all, easier to throw away. I also liked the clattering sound the old bottle made when it bumped into other containers. If the scent is like this, I might consider using Dolux for my lotion and emulsion too. (You can also order it online.)
I want to apply a lot of cream today to moisturize my skin, but I applied too much and it ended up feeling sticky. This is convenient for those times when you want to lightly wipe it off.
I ran out of my usual astringent lotion, but I was short on cash, so I bought this. It has a nostalgic scent (lol). There's not much difference in the feel, so I think I'll stick with this one from now on. When I apply it to my skin after washing my face in the morning, it closes my pores and makes my makeup go on better.
I've been using the two-layer type until now, but I'm hooked on the Dolux series, so I bought this one. The two-layer type seems to absorb excess oil, but this one seems to increase moisture and balance the skin rather than absorb it. Personally, I think it's better in winter than summer. As for the scent... well... I personally find it a bit strange...
