I'm using it now, but I wonder if it's removing my makeup? If you're worried about residue, I recommend using it in combination with makeup remover. I like the scent and the gentle foam, but personally, I think Shiseido Bone Cake Soap would be better. It caused a bit of itching, so it didn't really suit me.

I keep it on my bathroom sink and mainly use it to wash my face in the morning. It lathers up nicely even with just my hands, which is really helpful. It has a great scent, and it's made washing my face, which can be a pain, a lot of fun. It seems to be able to remove makeup as well, but I've never used it as a makeup remover. I really like it, so I'd like to buy it again, but anyway, it lathers up nicely even with just a little soap on my hands, so it lasts a long time and is great value for money.

I don't usually wear foundation, so I bought this soap, which removes makeup and cleanses my face at the same time. I chose it because of the good reviews and the excellent face powder in the same series. However, the results were disappointing. I prefer a rich, thick lather, but this is the complete opposite. It lathers well whether I lather it by hand or with a net, but as I wash my face, it loses its texture as the carbon dioxide evaporates. When I use it in the bath, my skin feels tight after getting out... I had high hopes for this because the face powder was so good, but it doesn't seem to suit me. December 2025 Update ★★★★★★ It didn't suit me as a facial soap, but I thought it would be a waste not to use it, so I'm using it as a body soap. The lather and cleanse are excellent! I noticed the dryness when washing my face, but I don't feel it at all when using it on my body! My skin always used to be a little dry in the winter, but since I started using this, the dryness has disappeared, so I've upgraded it to a body soap for me.

I have extremely dry skin, but this product doesn't make my skin feel tight, which is great. After my bath, I have more time to relax and enjoy my impressions. It's great.

When I used it during the change of seasons, I felt some irritation, and my skin condition worsened afterwards. I also noticed that it left a slight residue after washing. I thought it would be a good product for my age, but unfortunately, it didn't suit me.
