Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It's not sticky, but it's moisturizing. I like how it gradually and surely makes my skin softer.
I've used a lot of moisturizing creams, but I've never had skin as moist as Shu Uemura's! This is what they mean when they say it improves skin texture!! It's light and easy to use, so I recommend it even when combined with other skincare products!
When I look for a refreshing feeling when using lotions, they are often not moisturizing enough, and when I choose moisturizing products, they end up being sticky, so I've never been satisfied with any of them, but this one is moisturizing without being sticky, which is great. Since it's just a sample, I don't know about the long-term effects, but I thought it felt good to use as a lotion.
---Additional Note---- When I used it in the summer, my makeup didn't come off as easily, which was surprisingly good. However, it didn't moisturize enough, so my skin became oily. Perhaps because it's summer, the alcohol smell isn't as noticeable as before. Still, I wonder if it's worth the price? So I won't be repurchasing. ----Previous Review----This is my first oil-in-lotion. It certainly has a light texture. I don't really feel the oil. Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Modified Alcohol Isohexadecane (etc.). The alcohol smell is a little strong when I apply it to my face. That's unavoidable, since the fourth ingredient is alcohol. It absorbs quickly, making it a perfect lotion for summer. It's not enough for the coming season. I haven't noticed any noticeable effects, but since the third ingredient is dimethicone, I think it might help cover pores if used as a lotion before makeup. I've only just started using it, but I haven't really noticed any particular benefits.
I received a sample. When I used it, it felt smooth, but after a while it felt dry and tight. I feel like if I use it during the dry season, it will probably flake. So I used it up in the summer. The sample was enough.
