I bought this because it was a hot topic. It can be used in addition to your existing skin care routine, is reasonably priced, and is easy to use every day.
I was worried because the reviews said it had a smell, and it certainly did. However, I didn't find the smell unpleasant. I tried using it and it was great. I only used one bottle, so I don't know if it had a dramatic effect, but I think I'll keep using it!
I bought this product after being recommended by a friend in her 30s who has smooth skin like porcelain! I was told to start off by using a small amount, and not to use it if I have skin problems because it stings, so on the first day I used it only around my nose, making a 5mm circle with the dropper. At first I felt a stinging sensation, but after a week it didn't bother me, and now I've been using it for a month and I use one pump with the dropper. I only use it at night because I'm concerned about the stinging on my skin during the day, but it seems that I don't produce as much sticky sebum when I wake up in the morning. My pores still don't feel smaller, so I'll keep using it and see how it goes.
I felt like my skin texture had improved, but it did sting a little, probably because of the high concentration of vitamin C. I've used the 13% version of this product before, and it hardly stings at all, so if you have sensitive skin I recommend the lower concentration.
When I heard that it was 23% Vitamin C, I was a little worried that it would be too irritating, but I was able to use it without any tingling sensation (I have used Vitamin C up to 15%). And as everyone has said, it has a strong canned tuna scent (lol). It feels quite oily, but it leaves my skin moisturized. I wanted to continue using it to see how my skin would turn out, but every time I used it, I got multiple pimples, so I had no choice but to stop using it. It seems that it didn't suit my skin type. What a shame. I thought that since it's 23% Vitamin C, it might be a product for people with strong skin.
