It says it has a citrus floral scent, but to me it smells a bit spicy. I also used the pink bottle, but there was no difference in the feeling after washing. It's not too refreshing, and it's not too moisturizing. I think people have different preferences for scents, but if there was another body soap in this price range that had a more predominant mandarin orange essential oil scent, I might switch to that one.
I love the scent so much that I keep buying it. It's so relaxing to take a bath with, so I want to buy the shampoo and other items in the lineup too.
The scent is amazing! In the second photo, the top is Public Organic's liquid body soap. The bottom is a colorless and transparent product from another company. (I took this photo to show the color more clearly.) It's a slightly light green color. It's getting dry, so I was looking for a better body soap and found this one. It leaves my skin feeling a little moisturized after a bath. (The smell is refreshing, though lol)
I really like the scent. It's the scent of essential oils, not chemical fragrances, so I feel it has a very soothing effect. It contains natural oils and extracts such as orange, eucalyptus, lapandula hybrida (lavender), Atlas cedar (cedarwood), tea tree, lemon, and rosemary. It has a refreshing citrus + herbal scent, foams well, and is free of silicone, parabens, mineral oils, etc., so it's a great body soap.
I usually use Body Shop or L'Occitane, but I like this lip balm so I tried it. The mandarin and geranium scent is nice, but Body Shop and L'Occitane have much better scents. Of course, the price is different, but after washing, my skin feels moisturized and I don't have to worry about dryness. It's a large size and good value for money!
