The scent is so relaxing! When I tried it in the store, I was told that it was very moisturizing but not sticky, and that it didn't stick to fabrics. I have dry skin, so I used to apply body cream to my hands and feet after taking a bath, but this oil is very moisturizing with just a small amount! And the wonderful scent makes me feel relaxed as I sleep.
I think this oil is the best among Neal's Yard body oils. I've been using it for over 10 years now (^^) It's easy to absorb and has a great scent. It's not sticky so you can use it in the summer. It doesn't make fabrics oily. The scent lasts so you can smell good when you turn over in bed. When applying to the face, avoid the area around the eyes and apply the oil lightly with the palm of your hand. I think whether essential oils are irritating or not varies from person to person, so I recommend trying a small amount on your neck or other areas first.
This is a massage oil, but it can also be used as a bath oil or for scalp massage! It has a very soothing scent and is very comfortable to use. It's not cheap, but it's a product that I think would be nice to have.
I use it to massage my legs. It has a nice scent and moisturizes, so my skin feels soft after the massage, and the citrus scent makes me feel refreshed. However, it comes out in a big gush, so it's better to use the spray head (sold separately). The spray head is a little hard to press and difficult to use, but it's better than nothing. (^^;; It's not sticky, and is rather a light oil, so it's convenient and easy to use for everything from massages to light moisturizing.
I was worried about hair loss, so I bought this to use for scalp massage. The scent of lavender is the base, with subtle hints of bergamot and other scents coming up later, it's exquisite. When I massage my scalp, it not only moisturizes my scalp, but also my hands and nails, which is nice. I think I'll keep using it during the winter.
