I bought this because I cut my long hair into a straight bob that reaches my jawline. It's mainly for adding shine and setting. It doesn't have the power to hold or set, but that's not what I'm looking for, so it's fine. I think there are many good hair setting oils and the organic wax that's popular these days, but I ended up wanting a regular wax. lol I usually use it by taking it in my hands, first lightly applying it to the surface with a hand comb, then using the remaining wax to create a clumpy look at the ends of my hair to make it look wet. It's easy to use (you can adjust the finish by the amount you use), and it smells like a salon? I like the sweet scent, which gets me excited. I also like the vivid pink Lego-style container, which is cute!
It doesn't have the power to hold hair in place. For me, it's just right for me, as I like it to hold my hair in place rather than hold it in place. It gives my hair just the right amount of shine, and best of all, the subtle scent it gives off is great, so I keep buying it.
I've tried a lot of different waxes, but I'm currently using this one. I wouldn't say it's the best, but my wax comes off quickly or becomes rough and untidy, but this wax seems to last a long time. However, if you apply too much, it can become very stiff, so be careful.
I'm not sure when I bought it, but I had it at home. It looked like it was still usable, so I tried it out. The texture was a little soft, and it didn't seem to have much power to keep the set. I didn't really like the finish.
I bought this because I wanted a wet feeling, but I knew it didn't have much staying power, so I used it in combination with Purple Cape, and I personally didn't mind the staying power. Also, it smells really good! But you have to take quite a lot to get the wet feeling, so it's hard to control, and it gives a gloss, but over time the wet feeling and gloss may disappear. It gives a fluffy feeling with a little clumpiness. If you want to use it to control flyaway hairs, you might be better off using another one.
