The product itself is not bad, but I usually use oil cleansing products, and I felt that it didn't blend in as well with my skin. I also use the same Kikumasamune lotion and like it, but I never use the cleanser. The scent is similar to the lotion, it smells like sake.
It doesn't remove makeup at all. My skin doesn't feel particularly moisturized after washing, so I won't be buying it again.
Use a generous amount and massage into skin before rinsing. Recommended for use in the bath.
This is my fourth bottle! It smells like alcohol. I like it because it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing. It's easy to remove if you spread it all over your face and then emulsify it.
I like moisturizing cream-type cleansers. I bought this thinking it was a cream, but it said gel, so I was afraid it would dry out my skin, but it was actually moisturizing. You have to rinse it off a little carefully, it's not sticky, but it's not dry. It's like a creamy gel. It removed gel eyeliner that other cleansers don't remove completely. It's a large size and is gentle on the skin, so it's really good. The scent is like alcohol, or something else.I wouldn't say it's a nice scent?! But I feel like I've found something good.
