I've been using it for several years. It's the most moisturizing of the Stephen Knoll series. I recommend it for people with severe damage. I don't color my hair, but it's hard and thick, so it suits me. People with fine, fine hair may find it sticky.
Of the Nol series I tried, this seems to be the best. It keeps my hair moisturized and smooth without any frizz or dryness. I have natural perms damaged by dyeing my hair. It doesn't spread too much even in the rain, so this seems fine. I only need the shampoo and nothing else. However, if I were to be greedy, I don't really like how the shampoo doesn't lather well, and how sticky it feels after drying, like it's hardened with plastic. It doesn't have that fresh feeling after washing. The scent doesn't go with the perfume I'm using now. Even if it does get a little dry, I can manage that with other care products, so I'd like to find something that leaves my hair feeling smooth and washed.
Smells good?!
I didn't feel any particular change. It's neither good nor bad.
I bought a trial pouch. As I get older, my hair gets dry, the thin hair around my face gets curly, and it's wavy all over. I've been trying out various products to deal with my hair problems. The shampoo lathered up well. It smelled like the perfume they sell at ZARA. After washing, my hair felt a bit squeaky, but after blow-drying it, it felt relatively smooth and calm. After blow-drying the next day, my hair was pretty shiny, but it wasn't as moisturized as Ulris's blue water conch. After styling, I felt that there was less dryness and flyaways than with Salatis Dreamy Moist, which I've used in the past. However, I don't feel that it's good enough to make me want to use it, so I don't plan on buying the full version.
