Actually, I love Make Up Forever's Velvet Skin Powder Foundation, and I couldn't find replacement puffs on @cosme, so I bought this! I couldn't get the most out of the foundation's properties without the brushed puff, so after much research, I decided on this one. It's great.
I bought it again. I use it to touch up my makeup. I have combination skin that is more oily than oily. I used to have trouble with powder touching up my makeup because it would collect in my pores and make my skin look dirtier, but this powder foundation miraculously doesn't collect in my pores. To touch up my makeup, I 1) use Clarins Fix Makeup, 2) press with tissue, and 3) use the included brush to apply Pristine? powder. It resets my skin tone evenly. As other people have reviewed, the only drawback is that only the highlight powder remains (lol).
I have sensitive skin, so I've only ever used certain foundations, but this one had good reviews in magazines and I heard it wouldn't be harsh on the skin, so I decided to buy it. It felt normal to use, but when I put it on, it naturally covered my pores and made it look like bare skin from a distance, yet it was excellent in that it provided solid coverage. It has two layers, so I enjoy using them in different ways and mixing them depending on the situation.
I bought this to touch up my makeup. It doesn't feel thick and is good. It feels smooth and doesn't make my makeup smudge.
I love it, I really hope it doesn't get discontinued (cry). I like powder foundations, or powder foundations that are thin and don't dry out, so I have two choices: this or Paul & Joe's powder foundation (it's hard to choose, but the latter has more coverage). I also use THREE as a base, but there are so many great products that I can't decide, lol, but I've decided on two foundations! I haven't been using highlighter lately, so it's nice to be able to use it as a highlighter. Powder foundations are getting popular, but liquid foundations are still popular, but I hope THREE doesn't get discontinued.
