It's amazing how the scent is so strong yet doesn't bother me. I don't like strong or strong scents, but I love this so much that I want it as a perfume! The texture is soft and easy to apply, so I recommend it!
It wasn't the feminine scent that you would associate with pomegranate, but more like an elderly British man's scent. After a while, it smelled like old European church furniture (lol). The cream itself absorbed well and moisturized my skin, but I didn't feel like using it any more. Too bad!
The cream has a soft, milky texture that spreads easily. It is absorbed quickly and leaves a refreshing finish rather than a sticky, moisturizing feeling. The scent is a slightly spicy, exotic, mature scent. It smells great. It may not be enough for those with dry skin. The scent is very nice, so I think it's good as a cream to enjoy the scent rather than as a moisturizing cream.
This is my first Jo Malone product. I have a favorite perfume, so I tried the body cream. I thought I'd try a popular scent, but I ended up with something different from Amanojaku (lol). The scent description was as follows: "A bold and sensual scent inspired by a red silk evening dress. The fresh scent of pomegranate is accented with pink pepper and gorgeous Casablanca. Guaiac wood and patchouli add warmth and a captivating impression." I imagined a rich, mature scent, but it was mature but not too rich, and the lingering scent was quite refreshing (patchouli?). It seemed more suitable for a kimono than a red silk evening dress. I could smell the Casablanca, wood, and patchouli, but I couldn't really detect the pomegranate or pink pepper. The cream itself was lighter than I expected. It wasn't sticky. I'd like to try a different scent, but the price is a bit too much for me.
I liked it so much that I bought this size instead of the small one. It has a really subtle scent so it's easy to use. It feels like I'm the only one enjoying it, but I love the unique incense flavor.
