I've used oil cleansers from Shu Uemura and Attenir that don't require double cleansing, but this product is even better than them. The moist feeling after washing is even better than the two above. The woody scent is also aromatic, which I like.
This is by far the best cleanser I've ever used! It's gentle on the skin and removes makeup thoroughly. It smells great and doesn't leave a tight feeling after washing! It's a pump type, so I wish it came in a travel package. This cleanser cleanses with less friction, so I feel like it's helping my eyelashes grow longer!
The oil is a little thick, so it's easy to spread and use. It removes makeup well, emulsifies quickly, and cleanses without stickiness. Even though most cleansing oils say you don't need to double cleanse, they still feel sticky and make you want to wash with face wash, but this one was fine! The not-too-strong citrus herbal scent is lovely, and I look forward to cleansing every night.
Even gentle cleansing oils such as Fancl and Shu Uemura Ultim dry out my skin, so I've been using cream cleansers. However, I don't have time to thoroughly cleanse my two children with creams when I give them a bath, so I was looking for an oil. This is a smooth liquid, but it also feels cushiony on the skin. It emulsifies and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and refreshed when you wash it off. I'm also grateful that it doesn't sting my eyes. There's no need for double cleansing, and it's moisturizing without being sticky, which is really amazing. I sometimes use Celvoke, which also doesn't require double cleansing, but it stings my eyes. This is my third Addiction repeat!
I've been trying out a variety of oil cleansers that don't require double cleansing, and this is the first time I've purchased this Addiction cleanser. It removes makeup very well, doesn't sting my eyes, and removes roughness from pores. I think it's better value for money than Shu, but it's still a bit pricey. I don't think it's something I absolutely have to use.
