I like the scent. The shampoo doesn't lather, so I wonder if it's really washing my hair. but when I use it with the conditioner, it makes my hair soft and manageable, so I like the feel of it.
The scent is likely to be a matter of love or hate.
I hadn't noticed Aveda, but it was better than any salon-exclusive product I've ever used. I have dry, curly, thin, and difficult-to-manage hair, but it gave it a nice shine and made my hair look different the next morning. It's the opposite of the common pattern of hair looking great after drying after a bath, but looking disappointing the next morning. I was impressed that my hair was shinier and prettier when I woke up. I was surprised when this happened with the sample I used while traveling. I dried it with a random hair dryer they had in the hotel, but it looked better than usual! I couldn't help but buy the full product. I recommend using the whole series because you can feel the effects even more if you apply Aveda's out-of-bath treatment before drying it. It's expensive because it's a good product, so I'll minus one star for that reason alone.
I used the trial product once, but it dried out my hair and the next morning it was noticeably dry. The scent was also quite unique and not to my liking.
The shampoo lathered well, had a nice scent, and washed my hair cleanly. The conditioner was easy to use as it left my hair feeling smooth after using a hair dryer. The Mask Light can be used as a special treatment, and it added shine to my hair after using a hair dryer. The leave-in conditioner is convenient because it can be used on both wet and dry hair. I like that I can keep it in my pouch and spray it a few times when my hair feels dry, as it moisturizes it!
