I bought Deep Brown. I'm a cool-toned summer type who likes dull shades. Here's a comparison with my favorite Shiseido Mascara Ink 01 Warm Brown. The photo shows Shiseido on the left and this on the right. The first photo is sunlight, and the second is indoor lighting. This one is closer to gray, or maybe less brown. Both are hard to remove, and are perfect for ash-toned hair.
This was recommended to me by the stylist at the eyebrow salon I go to. The brush is thin and small so it's easy to use! The color blends in naturally and can be used with any powder or pencil color.
The brush is thin and easy to apply to short eyebrows, so it dyes them beautifully and is good enough as an eyebrow mascara. If you blow it on your skin, it will come off, but once it dries it's hard to remove, so I recommend blowing it on right away.
I used 02 Natural Brown. The micro slim brush can catch even the finest hairs and downy hairs. It's easy to use and maneuverable. The liquid comes on just right, so even if you apply it against the grain of your hair, it doesn't splash on. It's resistant to sweat, water, and sebum, but can be easily removed with hot water. I felt it was a little weak against water, but I think it will stay beautiful as long as you don't sweat a lot while playing sports. 02 is a natural, classic brown that blends well with the skin. It's not too reddish or yellowish, so it looks good on many people. It gives the impression that it adjusts the color to match the color of your hair and eyes, rather than dyeing your hair thoroughly. I recommend it for people who like a natural finish.
The screw brush prevents clumping, so I can apply mascara beautifully even on my poorly-looking eyebrows.
