If I use it on my whole face, it leaves white residue on my cheeks and around my mouth, which tend to dry out easily, so I try to use it only on my T-zone! It has a really nice scent and lifts my spirits when I use it.
I bought this to try out because I'm sweaty and shiny every day. It's a fix mist and matte, but it doesn't feel forced and doesn't take away too much moisture, which I like. Some people may find it dry if they reapply it multiple times, but I think that applying it once in the morning will last a long time. Not only does it suppress sebum and shine, but it also keeps my eyeshadow and mascara from coming off as easily as usual, so it kills two birds with one stone ^ ^ Trimethylsiloxysilicate and zinc oxide clog pores and make acne more likely, so this quality is really helpful as it doesn't contain them. It will probably be an essential item for July, August, and September.
I bought the travel size and it was so good that I bought the larger size too! It doesn't dry out my skin even in winter and it keeps my makeup from coming off, so it's really useful!
This is the first time I've used a mist that gives a matte finish. It's lighter than I thought, so it's prone to flaking in areas that tend to dry out. It's perfect for summer, but I don't think it can be used all year round. I think it tends to dry out in winter, and it no longer breaks down due to sebum.
I usually use KOSE's Makeup Keep Mist. I have combination skin and my T-zone gets oily, so I was intrigued to find out that there is a matte type mist! I also thought that the travel size would be a good first try. First, I went to the store to try it out to see if it would suit my skin, which is prone to irritation. I was told that the travel size is only available online, so when I said I wanted to try it out, the sales associate just sprayed it on my hand, and to be honest, her attitude was not very good. (Maybe she thought I was just teasing her?) So I decided to take a gamble and buy the travel size online without trying it on my face, but that was a mistake. It started to flake out and get into my pores, making it even dirtier! And it left me with a lot of bumps. If the sales associate had been nicer, I would have been able to forgive it, but I don't think I'll ever buy anything from this brand again.
