If I use it on my whole face, it leaves white residue on my cheeks and around my mouth, which tend to dry out easily, so I try to use it only on my T-zone! It has a really nice scent and lifts my spirits when I use it.
I bought the travel size and it was so good that I bought the larger size too! It doesn't dry out my skin even in winter and it keeps my makeup from coming off, so it's really useful!
I like the finish because it's hard to find a fix that gives a smooth matte finish. Before the renewal, I was worried about the coarseness of the mist, but it seems to have been improved. It contains a lot of it, so it lasts for one season. I also like Shu's Matte Fix, so I'm going to use up the whole bottle and then decide whether to buy it again.
It smells like Make Up Forever. It's quite strong, so some people might not like it, but I'm fine with it. (It's not my favorite scent, but it's okay.) The mist comes out in a very fine powder. Of all the ones I've tried, this is the one I like best. I use about five pumps, but it doesn't make me wet at all and dries pretty quickly. It fixes with a moderate matte texture and makes my makeup last. It would be really, really great if there was no scent, but I'll keep using this unless I find something else I like.
I have oily skin and have used a variety of base makeup and fix mists in combination, but if I had to choose a matte one, this would be it. It's a powder-in-mist, so it doesn't make my sebum stand out. However, it contains too much powder, so after spraying it, the powder gets fluffy on my eyelashes and eyebrows lol. It can be removed cleanly with an eyebrow brush, so there's no problem.
