This wax has a very nice scent and is a hard wax, but the texture is loose, making it easy to spread in the palm of your hand and rub into your hair. I have Deuser's Hard Wax No. 5, which has the same texture, but I don't like Deuser's unique scent, so I tend to choose Gatsby or Ocean Trico's red hard wax. The red Ocean Trico doesn't have enough shine, so I mix it with the same blue package to add shine. This is very convenient because it gives both shine and keeps it in place. Above all, the scent of this wax is great. It has a pleasant floral fruity scent that is easy to use for both boys and girls, and it makes me feel good to use it. The scent fades quickly, though. It's hard, but not brittle, and is flexible and has good hold. I have fine hair, so no matter what styling product I use, it tends to fall apart from the roots over time, but this product doesn't do that and keeps my hairstyle in place all day. Another good thing about it is that it's easy to wash off with shampoo. The packaging is also cute and round.

However, this product does not have the difficulty of removing it with shampoo, which has been a problem for me. I think it is a very good product in terms of casual use. The scent is a refreshing sweet scent. It's not that strong, but personally I would like a fragrance-free product. If that's the case, I think you shouldn't buy Gatsby out of habit.
