This was used daily by a family member who was troubled by a sticky scalp. I continue to use other shampoos, but I used this product once a week when I felt that my scalp was not clean after washing my hair. It is a transparent, fairly loose gel-like shampoo, and although it is labeled as fragrance-free, it has a menthol-like scent that seems comfortable to use in the summer. It refreshes the scalp, but I did not feel any squeaking in my hair. Although it is a product for men, I think that women can also use it comfortably when they want to feel refreshed in the summer or after sports.
I bought a trial size. I was looking for a fragrance-free scalp care product because I hate my scalp getting sticky due to temperature and humidity. Although it is fragrance-free, it has a minty taste and is refreshing. It leaves your hair feeling refreshed after washing, but I'm glad that it doesn't feel rough. The packaging is targeted at men, but I felt that it was a product that women could use as well.
