It's luxurious, so I only use it on my cheeks and dark circles! It's moisturizing and not sticky! I use this as a lotion and milky lotion! I also love the scent!
I bought this without any expectations because I wanted to try a new cream. It turned out to be better than I expected. It's more moisturizing than I thought it would be, and it feels like I'm putting a moisturizing pack on at night and going to bed, and it leaves my skin smooth the next day. I hesitate to use it in the morning before putting on makeup, and I don't like the scent of Sekkisei, so I'll give it a minus 1 star. The scent of Sekkisei is a bit outdated, and I wish it had a more natural, herbal scent.
I bought this because it has Sekkisei face wash, lotion, milky lotion, and sunscreen. I was worried that it would be too oily because creams are full of oil, that it would ruin my makeup if I used it in the morning, and that it would cause acne before my period, but I've been able to use it without any problems. It seems to have a tight seal, so my makeup doesn't come off as much and it's less shiny. The dryness that was there in certain areas has calmed down, and my skin has become much better. It's not too sticky to wear and is very easy to use. The familiar Sekkisei scent is soothing and I use the whole line, so it's a perfect match. I plan to keep using it until I get tired of it.
The lotion and milky lotion from Sekkisei Brightening were good, but the moisturizing effect was not so good, so I bought the cream from the same series. It is more moisturizing than the milky lotion, but I'm not that impressed. When I use the cream, my face seems to mistake it for sebum, and it makes my skin oily and my pores open up, which is just how I like it, so it doesn't feel right like other creams. If I use too much, I get acne. I may need to adjust the amount. I'm trying to find the best amount for me so that I can use it together with the milky lotion. For now, I use two pumps of the milky lotion on my entire face, one pump at a time, and then take a small pearl-sized amount of cream and spread it on my cheeks, which are dry, and on the nasolabial folds, around my eyes, and between my eyebrows, and then apply the remaining cream to my forehead, chin, and nose in that order, and it has settled down.
I really like the renewed Sekkisei (lotion) and have already bought it again, and I'm about to finish off my second bottle. This came out just when I was looking for a way to finish my skincare routine with a feeling this comfortable. It's thick for an emulsion, but light for a cream, and has an exquisite weight that makes it easy to use. The moment you apply it, it feels like your skin is moisturized and packed with moisture, and the moisturizing feeling lasts until morning. (It doesn't penetrate into the skin and feel smooth. ) It's more recommended for use at night, but it's also comfortable to use in the morning. I think this will become one of my favorite products, following the lotion.
