I'm a cool-toned summer type. I was torn between plum black and cherry brown, but I ended up buying cherry brown. This is my first D-UP mascara, but it's pretty good. I like the Dejavu mascara brush because it's easy to apply, but the black is too bright for me, and the dark brown is a little too light for me, so it's not enough. D-UP's cherry brown is somewhere in between, a dark brown, so it's very easy to use. The brush is also thin, so it's easy to apply. If you lightly remove excess liquid with a tissue before applying, it won't clump. It's a little difficult to apply to the lower lashes, so I use Dejavu black only on the lower lashes. It gives a little more length and curl than Dejavu, so I like the soft look. I'd like to try plum black next.
The curled brush makes it easy to apply along the shape of your eyelids, so the finish is very beautiful. It's easy to apply and doesn't clump, and it gives you volume, so I love it! Mascara tends to clump if you apply it multiple times, but I like this one because it doesn't clump.
Mascara score: 80 points! It's easy to apply. The color is cute and it doesn't clump easily.
I love Cherry Brown and recently purchased Plum Black for the first time. It's a great color. The black has a slight plum reddish hue, which is more pronounced than the brown but not as harsh as the black.
Lately, I've been into mascaras that aren't completely black. All the color variations in this series are so beautiful. It doesn't give you a ton of volume, but it does apply nicely to each individual lash. You can also add length by applying multiple coats. The color is good, but not too noticeable, and the finish is elegant, so I'd like to try other colors as well.
