I use this for my 5-year-old daughter. We use shampoos and fabric softeners that leave almost no scent, so when I first started using this product, I was worried that the scent might be too strong for my child, or that she might get sick on the bus to school, but there were no problems. As I continued to use this product, I didn't notice the scent, perhaps because my nose got used to it or the scent of the product disappeared. I like the texture because it's just right for tying up her hair, so I recently bought it again. I use it almost exclusively on weekdays, and I used about half the tip of my middle finger each time, and it was gone in about 8 months.
I liked that it was cheap and came in a large quantity, but I didn't like the smell and it didn't have much hold, so it wasn't enough for me.
