M Skin Fake Balm, NO.23, 11g

I've reached an age where powder foundations look off, so I've been using liquid foundations, but I've been troubled by the inconvenience of not being able to carry it around, and I've become a foundation refugee. I've used Missha lipstick before, but I've had good impressions of them being easy to use and with little fragrance, so I decided to try the Skin Fake Balm. I think it's okay to try it out if it doesn't work because of the low price! It spreads well and blends into the skin. There's no fragrance, and it's easy to use. However, if you press it with tissue, the foundation will stick to it, so I think it will come off if you sweat and wipe it off, so the coverage may not last a day? I bought the No. 21 color, and it brightens up the dull skin of my 50s, which I like.

I found this when I was looking for a zinc oxide-free foundation and decided to buy it. I have combination skin and it tends to break down around my nose and forehead due to sebum, and on my cheeks it tends to break down due to dryness and get stuck in my pores, but I was surprised that this foundation barely breaks down and looks great even in the evening. It does break down on the sides of my nose, but it doesn't peel off or visibly fall off, it doesn't accumulate in the pores on my cheeks, it doesn't darken my skin at all, it doesn't dry out my skin, and it keeps sebum in check, so I love it! This is my first time using a balm type foundation, but I don't feel any irritation when I glide it over my cheeks, and I feel like it applies better than cushion or liquid foundations. It has a strong UV protection effect, so I plan to buy it again.

As it is fake, it makes your skin look like someone with beautiful bare skin. It's shiny. Even applying cushion foundation is a hassle, your hands don't get dirty, and you can get beautiful skin in a short time.

This is a review updated in January 2025. Last time, I refrained from using it because it was noticeable in my pores, but when I applied it after moisturizing my skin thoroughly, it did not fall into my pores. When I first applied it, it took a while for it to settle into my skin, and it felt like it was floating, but after 1-2 minutes it felt like bare skin. When I used it in the winter, I did not feel my makeup coming off very much. I think it depends on the condition of your skin. It is a product that combines a makeup base and sunscreen, making it perfect for busy mornings. When my skin is well moisturized, it covers my skin nicely, but when the moisturizing power is not strong, my pores became noticeable. As for the staying power of my makeup, I have combination skin that is more oily, and I felt that it was easy to come off without powder. The glossiness is very good and looks beautiful, so I would like to study how to use it well.

I use it more like a concealer than a foundation. It doesn't dry out the skin and adheres well, so it doesn't get cakey.
