There are a lot of matte lip products on sale this spring, and I wanted one, but I was worried that the base would make it look shiny, so I was looking for a base for matte lip products and found this. It applies smoothly without any snagging. It's slim, so it doesn't go over the edge and is easy to apply. It has a matte texture as I wanted, but if you put a matte lip product on top, it will be really matte, and if it's glossy, it will feel thick. It may not be very moisturizing. The vertical wrinkles on my lips are really noticeable. I have no choice, so I first put on a moisturizing lip balm, lightly wipe it off with a tissue, and then put it on top, but it's a bit of a hassle. The good thing about it is that it has almost no scent. I don't really like scented lip products, and I don't mind if the lip product has a little scent, but the base is fragrance-free! That was great for me. It also has a sunscreen effect. You need sunscreen for your lips, don't you? It's much more expensive than petit pla, but I think it's affordable among depako cosmetics. But I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.
