I was recommended this product when I purchased UFK cream, so I bought it to try. The oil is a little heavy, and it leaves a film on your skin after washing. I like the scent, but considering the price and effectiveness, I won't be buying it again.
It was quite smooth and a little difficult to use, but it did a good job of removing makeup. I didn't feel any dryness after washing.
It is a thick oil cleanser that blends well with makeup. I use other cleansers on some days, including gel types, so I sometimes forget to emulsify and just wash it off. But it still washes off quickly and leaves no makeup or cleanser behind. I like the emulsification process, so I only washed it off immediately that one time, but even people who don't like emulsifying oil cleansers should be able to use it. It removes not only my base makeup (which I finish with items that don't easily come off) but also my eye makeup with just this. I don't use mascara, but I apply eyeshadow thoroughly. I wear eyelash extensions, so I avoid using oil cleansers every day, but even if I use this once every 2-3 days, I don't feel like it's coming off any faster. It has a scent that seems to be from herbal aromas. When I saw the "botanical" in the product name, I understood deeply. I like the scent, and I can smell it quite a bit while cleansing. However, it doesn't make me choke, and it's a faint scent, so I don't think it's that strong.
I bought this product because it was highly rated in a magazine. The texture is hard and I'm worried about friction. It easily irritates my skin, so I won't be buying it again.
From the advent calendar. A light oil. I usually use oils for cleansing. I usually use a heavier type, so this felt very light. Also, the scent. The lavender scent is quite strong. I like lavender, so I sniffed it while applying it to my skin, but if you like faint lavender or the sweet lavender of L'Occitane, you might not like it. I don't think I'll buy it because the cheaper cleansing oil I usually use is enough.
