Although it is called a balm, it feels like a gel. (Please understand that I cannot compare it to other balms because I have never used any other balms.) It cleanses the makeup thoroughly, so I think it comes off at an oil level. It emulsifies easily and becomes cloudy as soon as you touch it with wet hands. It doesn't make your skin feel too tight after washing, but I think double cleansing is necessary.
I've been using this ever since it was introduced in LDK Beauty as a cleanser that is effective on pores. It's effective on clogged pores. The scent is a sweet citrus scent, and the texture is a little hard, somewhere between a gel and a balm. The texture is heavier than other cleansers, so it's likely to be a matter of personal preference. Warm it in your palms, spread it on your face, and cleanse slowly without rubbing. It feels a little tight after washing. But as someone with oily skin, I appreciate it when it's this refreshing and cleanly removes clogged pores. With regular balm cleansers, the moisturizing power is high, but even after washing my face afterwards, I feel like the balm's unique sliminess remains, which I wonder if it's bad for my skin? I was worried about that. So, as an oily skin pore clog eradicator, I'm going to keep using this until I get tired of it! I might not recommend it to people with dry skin. One bottle lasts me about two months. I personally think it's good value for money.
As it says, it is a honey-like balm, and the melting texture blends into the skin so it is very comfortable! It is a little hard to remove eye makeup, but after washing, my skin was moisturized without any tightness, which was nice.

I received a sample from suzykirei and have used about half of it. In conclusion, it's really good! The skin on my face is thin and sensitive to irritation, so even regular cleansers can make my face red and make it feel hot. This product is light on the skin and doesn't irritate my skin even when it's absorbed, so I didn't have to worry about my face turning red. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, and it feels really good to use! I want to keep using this product for a while. The container is the type that you place facing down, so I'm a bit worried that one day it might leak out and get all soggy if it's not closed properly (it closes tightly so so far it's fine).
