I don't like the slimy texture. The scent is strong and pungent.
I'm glad that it's a balm that can be used with eyelash extensions. When you put it on your skin, it melts into an oil at skin temperature and blends with your makeup. If you add water to emulsify, it emulsifies quickly and comes off easily. I'm happy that it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, but it's a shame that you don't need to wash your face twice. In winter, the skin is cold, so it takes a while for it to melt into an oil. When it melts into an oil, I sometimes feel like the blackheads in my pores, such as on my nose, pop out, which feels great.
I bought this because I was attracted by the scent of honey and lemon. When I applied it to my skin, it was absorbed and makeup quickly disappeared. I expected it to be refreshing after washing off, but I wasn't sure if it was moisturizing or if there was still makeup left behind.
Although it is called a balm, it feels like a gel. (Please understand that I cannot compare it to other balms because I have never used any other balms.) It cleanses the makeup thoroughly, so I think it comes off at an oil level. It emulsifies easily and becomes cloudy as soon as you touch it with wet hands. It doesn't make your skin feel too tight after washing, but I think double cleansing is necessary.
This is a honey balm cleansing product from DEW. I've been buying a lot of DEW products lately. This honey balm was also included in the best cosmetics list, so I was interested in it. When you take it on your hand without wetting your face, it's a smooth balm like honey. It melts softly on your skin, and has a sweet, slightly refreshing melty honey floral scent. I've been reaching for cleansing products lately because I'm tired from the day and I've been reaching for products that are soothing to remove my makeup, but this product really feels like I'm being melted in honey. When I cleanse, the gentle scent of the face massage adheres to my skin and feels very comfortable. I thought it would be sticky after washing, but it's quite refreshing. I think you'll need a face wash after this, but I think this cleansing product has an excellent soothing effect. The cuteness of the containers of recent DEW products is also a big plus. It's been a sticky day with humidity, but I'd like to be soothed for a while with this honey cleansing balm.
