The rough feel of the product, such as the length and the wet shine, is almost the same as The Product hair wax. It can also be used on the hands and skin, but the texture of the Weleda seems a little softer and easier to use in this cold season. Both have a citrus scent, but I think the Weleda one is more refreshing. It has a nice scent. The strength is about the same. This one also seems to be usable by people of all ages and genders. I was getting tired of the product, so it was a good change of pace. This one has a flatter jar shape, so it seems easier to use until the end. If I were to buy it again, I think either one would do depending on my mood at the time. The price is about the same. However, according to the Weleda official website, the expiration date after opening is 3-4 months, so I don't think I'll be able to use it all if I only use it on my hair. I'll use a lot of it on my hands and fingers too.
This is the first time I've bought a hair balm. I use this before styling my hair. It feels heavy when I spread it on my hands. Maybe it's because my hair doesn't spread well or because I have a lot of hair, but I had to put on a lot of it to change the texture. It feels natural and not wet. I think the scent is something people either love or hate. I don't hate it personally, but it's not a great scent either. It was my first time, so I didn't have anything to compare it to, but the next hair balm I bought, LEA's, is easier to use, so I won't be buying it again.
It's small, so you can carry it in your bag. It's very useful when you want to tie your hair up.
