I was getting tired of the product, so it was a good change of pace. This one has a flatter jar shape, so it seems easier to use until the end. If I were to buy it again, I think either one would do depending on my mood at the time. The price is about the same. However, according to the Weleda official website, the expiration date after opening is 3-4 months, so I don't think I'll be able to use it all if I only use it on my hair. I'll use a lot of it on my hands and fingers too.
