Compared to Matomage, the staying power is not there. It sets right after you apply it, but it becomes hazy after a while. Scent is faint and just a little. Case is hard to close the lid, and it's easy to scrape off the wax. Sorry, but I recommend Matomage.

This one has been renewed too, but it never runs out, so I don't think I'll ever need to replace it. In fact, the other one catches stray hairs better, so I don't use it much and I just have it.

I have a short bob with a lot of hair and coarse hair. I have flyaways that stand up at an almost vertical angle, so this kind of item is a necessity. I usually use Matomage sticks, but I happened to see this one on sale, so I bought it to try it out. It's just as effective at holding hair in as the regular Matomage. If you put too much on, it gets sticky, but if you put a little bit on moderately, it gives a natural finish. The cherry blossom scent lasts longer than I expected. Even if you put it on in the morning and it's night, you can smell it yourself when you move your head or at random moments. If you don't like the scent, it might be too strong. Or it's good for people who don't like or can't stand the smell of the ingredients. The container of Matomage is the type that you just put the lid on, while this one is the type that you twist once to fix it. This one may be more reassuring when you put it in your pouch because the lid won't come off, but it was a bit of a hassle when you were getting ready in a hurry in the morning. Overall, I thought this was a good product, but personally I felt that the Matomage one was more suitable for me and easier to use. I'll be using this until it runs out.

My hair is thick, voluminous, hard, and quite stiff, so even if I use styling products such as hair cream or balm, flyaway hairs fall out, so a stick like this one to deal with flyaway hairs is a must-have. Ichikami's Japanese Herbal Stick has a cute package and a nice Ichikami scent. If I were to be greedy, I would say that all sticks do catch dust on the hair, and the stick itself becomes covered in dust, so if that could be improved, I think it would be an even more attractive product.

At home, it stays together, but as soon as I go outside and the wind blows, the flyaways go back to normal. If I apply too much, it gets sticky, so I didn't apply too much. I highly recommend this for people who don't have many flyaways and just want to keep them in check, or for people who only use it indoors.
