It's especially good for when you're in an air-conditioned room or other space where dryness is a concern even in the summer. Since it's made by Rohto Pharmaceutical, I think it's a safe and reliable product that is gentle on the skin.
Originally, I bought this because my son, a high school student, wanted some skincare products, but he soon got tired of it and left it. As a result, I've been using it diligently. I usually use a full course of skincare from introductory serum to cream, but I was so impressed with the ease of being able to complete my skincare routine with just this one product that I ended up reaching for this one before I knew it. The gel feels sticky right after you put it on your skin. But after leaving it for a while, it feels just moisturizing. My skin tends to be quite dry and flaky, but this one product alone doesn't dry it out, although I think it's because of the summer. As I get older, if I slack off on my skincare routine during busy periods, my skin becomes drier and I look older all at once. I've been using this and eye cream all the time, but that hasn't happened yet. Some all-in-one gels leave a flaky residue, but this one doesn't and is easy to use. If I use something that doesn't suit me, it stings, but that doesn't happen, so I can use it with confidence.
It's an all-in-one product, so you can use it for all your skincare needs, and it's also super moisturizing! I refill it and take it with me when I travel, so it's really useful!
