I won a prize on suzykirei. I have already posted a review of Lotus & Jasmine. I had no idea what Hop & Valerian would smell like before I used it. When I picked it up, it had a surprisingly strong, sharp herbal scent. The scent that lingers in your nose is unique, but it has a mysterious addictiveness that is unique to Kneipp, so you can't hate it and it's an addictive scent. I think it's a scent that is more suitable for some people than Lotus & Jasmine, so preferences may vary. I know that it's a foam type, so it's not cost-effective, but even so, the foam wears off quickly, which is very disappointing for people who usually love body soaps with thick foam. It has a fluffy, light and gentle foam, so it might be suitable for people who want a good foam rinse. I would be happy if the moisture lasted a little longer after washing. The moisturizing power is not enough for use in autumn and winter. I thought the unique scent was as expected from Kneipp, but it's hard to repeat it casually in terms of cost-effectiveness.
I bought it because the fragrance seemed to have a good reputation, but I think that the woody scent will be a matter of personal preference. The foam is soft but does not go flat. However, it does not spread very well and you have to push it a lot, so I felt that the cost performance and type were not very good. After washing, my skin does not feel very moisturized, but it does not feel dry.
The scent of valerian is strong while using it. The scent on the skin afterwards is nice and harmonious with all the other scents. I'm currently using The Public Organic's body soap, Super Positive, but to be honest, I prefer the scent of The Public Organic. However, it comes out as a foam, which is convenient. I didn't feel any particular dryness, so I think I'll use it up.
I originally liked the scent of this as a bath additive, so now I like it even more when I can use it as a body wash. The scent is faint, and it somehow helps me relax and sleep.
I love it and keep buying it along with the bath salts.
