The two-layer formula of water and oil gently removes eye makeup. The oil phase (oil-like layer) removes oily and waterproof eye makeup, while the water phase (liquid-like layer) gently washes away water-soluble ingredients, leaving behind the stickiness and filmy feeling that is characteristic of oil. The high-quality sunflower seed extract and sesame seed oil grown using biodynamic farming methods wash while protecting the sebum film that protects the stratum corneum, so the area around the eyes and skin remain moisturized even after cleansing. The formula of Damask rose water and several types of plant ingredients moisturizes and conditions eyelashes and eyebrows. The combination of eyebright and fennel gently conditions and cares for the sensitive and delicate skin around the eyes. It cleanly removes waterproof eye makeup, which would be difficult to achieve without the use of synthetic surfactants, while caring for the skin. It can be used for all skin types, not only for Dr. Hauschka makeup items, but also for cleansing waterproof eye makeup.
