I fell in love with the packaging at first sight and bought it. The calm color has good pigmentation and is easy to apply.
I've always loved NARS and have bought a lot of their products, but their matte lipsticks are also really cute!
I bought the limited edition 810A and the standard 820. 810A is said to be a cinnamon brown, so I was hoping for a slightly bluish pink from 820 based on the product image, but both turned out similarly on my skin tone. 820 was a much more yellowish color than I expected, so if you buy it without touching it up, you might want to be careful. The color retention, texture, and resistance to drying are quite average. It wasn't my favorite enough to make me want to buy it again. A bit disappointing.
I bought 801A ONLY YOURS purely because of the packaging. I'm a cool-toned person, so I wanted to use my favorite color without worrying about my skin tone, but I was a little worried that it might make my complexion look dull, but wow! It was a stylish color that even a cool-toned person like me could use. The color is easy to adjust, so if you apply it thinly it's natural, and if you apply it firmly it's spring-like, but it's not pastel-like, it's not too light or heavy, and it's well-balanced. I don't mind the scent, and I don't feel any irritation. It doesn't come off, but the packaging is super cute, so I get excited about reapplying it.
Just as I was thinking of purchasing the Best Cosmetics Award-winning No. 803, the Valentine's Day limited edition color was released, so I bought that first! It's a very easy-to-use cinnamon brown, and the packaging is cute too! I'm also eyeing No. 803.
