It has a sticky gel-like texture. It has a nice scent and a warming feel, so it warms up your face when you use it. However, because it has a sticky texture, it doesn't spread very well and it takes a while to blend with your makeup.

I love Shiseido Elixir, but I've only used Attenir cleansing products up until now. I decided to try a cleansing product this time, so I chose this one. I was a little worried about hot cleansing products because Manara was too strong and made my skin feel rough, but this one is gentler on the skin. My face feels softer after washing than Attenir. It's less irritating. However, because it's gentler, it doesn't have as much cleansing power. I don't know which is better, but I want to get the dirt out of my pores, so I think I'll go back to Attenir.
It's slightly warm. I like that light feeling. However, the texture is hard for a gel, so it's hard to get it out even when you press the pump, and if you don't use a little too much, it doesn't slide well on your face. However, after washing, my skin feels fresh and moisturized, so I'm satisfied. The scent is faint, not soothing, but not too distracting, so it's just right.
