There are some reviews saying that double cleansing is not necessary, but there is no official statement to that effect, so I recommend double cleansing. Also, since the area around the eyes is prone to stinging, I think a cleanser specifically for eye makeup is necessary. I really liked the cool, refreshing feel of this product.
It was about 1200 yen at the drugstore. I bought it thinking that it's rare to have a gel cleanser with clay ingredients, but it was better than I expected. It's more refreshing than I expected. I wonder if the clay ingredients have a great ability to absorb dirt? As you massage it around, it turns into a transparent oil and the dirt comes off. It takes a little time to remove mascara that is hard to remove, but this one product can remove mascara without any problems unless it is very stubborn and hard. (It's probably better to have a mascara remover if possible.) It's so refreshing that you don't really need to wash your face twice, but I do wash my face twice anyway. I had the impression that gel cleansers didn't remove much dirt a while ago, but this one really did remove the dirt. Because it absorbs dirt so well, it might be a little difficult to recommend to people with dry skin. There might be surprisingly few stores that sell it. So I didn't buy it again. I ended up switching to an oil cleanser that can remove even stubborn mascara in one go, so if I were to buy another, I'd consider this one for light makeup. Recommended for those who like gel-type products that come off easily.
It seems to have good reviews, but it didn't suit my skin, which tends to become sensitive with the change of seasons.I was a bit shocked that it didn't remove my eye makeup either.I think it's more suitable for people with strong skin.
I bought it because it was on sale at a drugstore. It made my skin rough after 3 days of use. I have combination skin. I tried a different cleanser to calm my skin, but it gave me acne on my face in places I don't usually get acne, it's the worst. I'm glad I didn't use it before an event. Even the Droas shampoo series made my scalp rough, so maybe the Droas series doesn't suit me in general.
