I like that it doesn't have a too-matte finish and isn't drying. I like to blend it with my fingers or apply it thinly with a brush.
I was interested in this as a replacement for my NARS Air Matte Lipstick, and finally bought it the other day. The color is Pink Chiffon, a mauve shade that doesn't make your face look too pale and gives a moderate sense of fashion. The texture is "matte", but it's smooth and easy to use, and doesn't dry out at all. Recent matte lipsticks have become really easy to use (I'm impressed). It's not particularly long-lasting, but it doesn't fall off easily either. I'm hooked on using it by creating a firm peak on my lips with a lip pencil of the same color, dabbing this on top, and finishing by putting gloss only on the center of my lips to create a three-dimensional look. I also like the packaging. It's a little short in length, so it's compact, but it's thick and easy to hold. The lid is magnetic, and it feels good to click it shut with the magnet. Overall, I thought it was a product that was easy to use at any time.
I bought this after seeing makeup artist Mukai using it on Biteki's YouTube channel. I like to use matte lipstick in the winter, but I was worried because it dries out my lips and makes me look older, but it wasn't as dry as I thought it would be, and I didn't notice any vertical wrinkles. The color is a whitish baby pink that's not very assertive, so I either unify the whole look with a nude feel, or balance it out by applying a little heavier eye makeup. When you apply it, it has a strong, faint cosmetic scent, so I think it might be difficult for people who don't like that kind of scent.
This was my first time buying a Laura Mercier lipstick. I loved the color. However, I didn't like the scent. Also, because it has a matte texture, it dried out my lips even when I moisturize them well.
Moist matte texture!! I've been in the mood for nude colors with a little added color recently, so I bought this. It looks big, I was a little surprised lol. It's smooth to apply, moisturizing, and not too matte, so I was right to buy it! It has a strong scent. It's natural as it is, and it's cute if you add a little color to the inside of the lip. It's great that it doesn't make your lips look ghostly! lol
