I also use a frankincense cleanser, but I thought that calendula would be better for the summer, so I bought this one. After all, this one suits my skin better. I also use Weleda's calendula (the name is different, but it's the same calendula flower), but unlike Weleda, this one has a refreshing scent because it contains lemon fragrance. The trick to removing makeup is to emulsify with plenty of water or lukewarm water. There is a method on the official website, so I recommend watching it. Unlike many organic cosmetics, this manufacturer recommends double cleansing. It certainly moisturizes, but I also felt that there was some oil remaining. It would be best to use the same Neal's Yard product, but I use Kewpie Baby Soap, or the oil-free Kiehl's cleanser, or La Roche-Posay Toleriane.
It was included in the Frankincense starter set. I have used cream cleansers from other manufacturers before. I was tired of the sticky feeling even after rinsing and washing with face wash, so I haven't used cream cleansers since. But this one didn't feel sticky and left my skin feeling moisturized, so I was impressed, "Oh, this is it!!" But. After removing my point makeup (eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, etc.) with a dedicated remover bar, I used this product, and I guess the eyeliner was left between my eyelashes. The remaining eyeliner transferred to my lower eyelid, making my under-eye area black. It was probably my mistake because I didn't remove it completely with the remover bar, but even when I applied this to the blackened lower eyelid and swirl it again, it didn't come off, and it spread even more. This never happened with the cleansing oil I usually use (even if there was some residue left with the remover bar, it came off with the cleansing), so I was disappointed and thought, "Oh, it's no good.". I really like the other products, so this is the only thing I'm disappointed about.
I've tried many different cleansers, but I've always come back to this one and can't let it go. The subtle lemon scent lifts my spirits. I don't think organic products are inherently gentle on the skin. Because we use herbs, which have a strong reproductive and vitality, it's only natural that they will be strong. This product is so soft and moisturizing that I wonder if it's made of beauty ingredients, and yet it leaves my skin feeling refreshed.
It had a nice scent. It was a balm type cleanser with a slightly yellowish color. It didn't come off easily and was easy to blend in.
I used a sample I received from suzykirei. It had a woody, plant-like scent, but it was a little strong. It was fine once I got used to it, but even though I usually wear light makeup, when I used this makeup remover in the bath, washed my face, and then used a wipe-off lotion after the bath, it removed an incredible amount of dirt.but it didn't remove any makeup at all. I had high hopes for Neal's Yard, so it's disappointing.
