The case is a plastic jar type with an aluminum lid larger than the palm. The case is surprisingly light. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's a slightly pink-colored butter. When you scoop it up, you'll be greeted with a sweet, refreshing, fresh English rose scent. It's a gorgeous scent, but it's not too strong, which is nice. I'm sorry for the selfish image, but I was surprised because I had the impression that this type of Body Shop item (even if it smells good) has a strong, strong scent. It's easy to use, and the scent that comes out when it gets close to the skin is nice.*Maybe because it's this season, it's a little hard when you take it. It feels like shea butter. You can take it with your fingers, but if you use a lot, a spatula might be better. When you put it on your skin, it softens with body heat and spreads well. It might be better to warm it up in your palm before spreading it. It feels like it moisturizes your skin well even with a small amount. It feels like butter, but it also contains moisture, and it adheres tightly to the skin from the point where you spread it. It moisturizes dry, flaky areas, refines the texture, and gives a protective feeling (^^) It's great not only for the body, but also for hands (although touching a smartphone leaves a slight oily residue), and moisturizes well, leaving the surface moist but not greasy, slimy, or sticky, so it's great that you can put clothes on right away. As expected, it spreads well and is even more moisturizing when applied to moderately damp skin after a bath. However, I wait until I've calmed down from taking care of my children before applying it, so I sometimes apply it after applying lotion, etc. It has a faint English rose scent for a while after application (you can smell it if you put your nose close to the skin).
I like the scent of roses and have tried many different things, but this might be my favorite scent ever! It's amazing how well it reproduces the gentle scent of fresh roses, from light pink to light orange. I also bought the hand cream in the set, but I liked this scent better, so I was disappointed and thought, "Why isn't it the same?" I think this has a more natural rose scent. As for moisturizing, inexpensive urea-containing or Hirudoid-based products are quite moisturizing and easy to buy, but urea attracts insects, so if you're gardening, you can't use it except in winter, so I thought that something with shea butter from the Body Shop would be better. I bought it because of the scent, but it moisturizes more than I expected and I'm satisfied. If it gets even drier, I'll put some oil underneath. In the summer, I used Satsuma, which has a refreshing tangerine scent. When I'm wearing light clothes, strong scents don't go well with kitchen work, but in the winter when I'm wearing thick clothes, I can enjoy a slightly strong scent by myself. It feels good to smell when I roll up my sleeves a little. It's a scent, but I don't think it's a nuisance to others.
Initially, I had a salesperson apply it to me at the Body Shop, and I was attracted by the light, refreshing rose scent and how moisturizing it felt. At the time, I had something else I wanted to buy, so I didn't, but I couldn't forget the scent and how it felt, so I bought it. I use it mainly on my arms and legs after a bath, and last year my skin was rough, but this year it's been going well and trouble-free.
It has a nice rose scent and is very moisturizing.
I really like the lovely rose scent. It's also very moisturizing. I'll buy it again.
