At first I was using the Nectarine body cream, but I bought this one because it's a little less sweet and I wanted to combine it with other products. I keep buying it over and over again. If you wear it at night, the scent lingers softly until morning. It's not as strong as perfume, so I don't think it smells too strong to those around you. I wear it at night, then in the morning, and then Jo Malone cologne. The cologne smells the same as the nectarine or cream. I think it has a good balance of sweetness and elegance. The scent varies depending on the person wearing it, and I think it smells a little different from cologne, so I recommend trying it out before you buy it.
The scent of the body soap in the kit was wonderful, so I was torn between perfume and body cream, but the scent was quite strong, so I wanted a subtle fragrance and chose the body cream instead. If you apply it to the areas where you would normally apply perfume, it leaves a soft scent, and if you apply it before bed, you're sure to get a good night's sleep. I'm glad I bought it!
I used the 50mL size because it was in an advent calendar. Just opening the lid gives you the indescribable blackberry & bay scent. It's a really good scent. Speaking of which, when I went to a Jo Malone store for the first time and smelled it, I was so impressed that I said, "There's such a wonderful scent. " It was blackberry bay. I love the scent and want to keep sniffing it with the lid open. I got the impression that the scent is less bitter than cologne. I want to use creme in winter and cologne in summer. It has a low viscosity and a soft texture. I use it partially on my knees, elbows, and dry areas, and it smells good as it is a fragrance brand. However, it is not a strong scent, it is very easy to use, and using this body creme lifts my mood. Just using it makes me feel happy, so I think I will buy the full 175mL version when the 50mL runs out.
I wanted to make my White Jasmine cologne a little more mellow, so I consulted at the Isetan counter. After smelling a few scents, I purchased this one. When I tried the cologne before, it started to smell like an old man after a while, but maybe it was different with the cream, or maybe my body odor has changed, but this time I didn't smell like an old man. I apply this after my bath time, and in the morning I spray on some White Jasmine before heading out. I'd love to keep one at work and use it instead of hand cream. This cream spreads easily and is stress-free to apply, but it also feels moisturizing. There's a generous amount, so I recommend it.
I like Jo Malone colognes because they are transparent and elegant. I don't like sweet and heavy scents, so I mostly use men's scents from other brands, but Jo Malone's floral and fruity scents are not too sweet and are easy to use. However, unfortunately, the scent doesn't last long, and I can't enjoy the scent unless I touch it up frequently. So I bought this body cream to make the scent last longer. As the store staff said, you can enjoy the scent for a long time by using the cologne + body cream. I chose Blackberry & Bay because it's a little sweet, but I like the refreshing grapefruit. Even if it's a little sweet in autumn and winter, the sweetness feels warm and comfortable. And when I asked the store staff about combining it with the nutmeg & ginger and lime basil & mandarin that I have, they said it would go perfectly together. I actually had the lime and nutmeg combined in the store, and it was an eye-opener. I was right to buy it! The moisturizing effect is decent. As the weather gets colder and drier from now on, I plan to use the highly moisturizing and fragrance-free Benne as a base and then layer Blackberry & Bay on top.
