I like the blue glass bottles of Neal's Yard, so I was surprised when it arrived in a plastic bottle, but I think this is easy to handle. It's light and doesn't break. It's 295ml, so it has more capacity than the glass bottle series (200ml). The Be Lovely series moisturizes well. It's called a lotion, but it's definitely a cream! It's heavy. It contains beeswax. The scent is a faint natural orange scent, so even if you don't like too much of a scent, I personally think it's okay to use it in between housework. It turns white, which is rare these days, but it blends in well. If you want to apply it widely on your body, I recommend applying it after a bath when it's still damp, so you can apply it smoothly. I was surprised that it felt even harder because it was a transition from Neal's Yard's English lavender body lotion, but it seems like it will be moisturizing and reliable in the winter. I have a constitution that gets so dry that my skin peels off when I wear warm innerwear like Heattech. But I'm going to die if I don't stay warm, so I'll try my best to moisturize. It's not cheap, but it's perfect for everything from hand care to heel care.
It adheres very well to the skin, but doesn't feel sticky. It feels very moisturizing. The scent is a mix of fresh citrus and a little sweet, and it's just right, not too strong or too weak. I like this pump type body cream container because it's the easiest to use. I wish the price was a little more reasonable.
I use it as a hand cream, not as a body cream. I was looking for a hand cream when I was looking for one and I found this. It fits all the criteria: large capacity pump, scent, and ease of use. It's not too light, not too heavy, and the honey scent is just right. It's a bit pricey for a hand cream, but it lasts quite a while since it's not for the body. I keep it in the kitchen so I can use it at all times.
This body lotion has a delicious honey + citrus scent. It's a pump type, so it's very easy to use. The blue bottle is plastic, and the contents are somewhat see-through so you can see how much is left, but once you get past the middle, the yellow label gets in the way and you can't see how much is left at all (>. <) It's a little more moisturizing than the other products I've used so far, so it's a bit heavy for me in the summer. The texture is about a loose cream to thick milk. I think it would be easier to spread if it was a little looser. The amount is also quite large, so overall I think it's an easy-to-use body lotion.
I was really disappointed because I had high expectations after reading the reviews. I have used a lot of Neal's Yard products. I was running out of body cream (Weleda Skin Food) this time, so I was looking for something different that was more effective. I read a review of this product and it said it was thick and moisturizing, so I thought it would be as amazing as Skin Food, but it's actually a light cream. It may sound thick if you think of it as a lotion, but it made me think that people's perceptions change when they read it. The scent is said to be orange, but it was like honey mixed with a little orange, and it wasn't the orange I imagined. I recommend this scent to people who like the scent of honey. It would be nice to be able to check it out in the store once. I couldn't go to the city in this day and age, so I bought it online. but I was disappointed with the scent and texture of this purchase.
