It creates a delicate lather and is easy to wash off. It's not irritating, and the color does last longer, which is great!
I was worried about how quickly ash-based colors fade, so I always use purple shampoo for about 10 days after coloring, and then use Color Save shampoo and treatment. I didn't like the poor foaming and squeaky feeling of the Color Save shampoo I used before, so I switched to this one. In conclusion, it makes my hair smooth and shiny! I don't like the smell of Schwarzkopf's purple shampoo, so I was a little skeptical before using it, but Color Save shampoo has a nice mango scent. It foams well and doesn't squeaky! And the color doesn't fade at all! It lasts a month even with ash! I'm so impressed! I also use Schwarzkopf's Color Save treatment, and it lifts my hair so nicely that I wonder where the damage to the color went. Also, there's no disappointment the next morning (dryness or frizz), which is common, so I'll definitely use it again. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner is so weak that it disappears by the next morning, but on the other hand it's a blessing when using perfume. Schwarzkopf also had a great purple shampoo colour (though the scent was disappointing), so I got the impression that they are a manufacturer of quality shampoos.
I started using this shampoo after coloring my hair. As I get older, my hair gets damaged and dry, which makes me look older, so I was looking for a good shampoo that would moisturize my hair just enough (I have thin, fine hair, so I don't like it to be too moist). I felt the effects immediately after using it. My hair doesn't get dry even after coloring! It foams up while shampooing, but it's moisturizing, and it feels like it has conditioner mixed in. It seems to suit my hair type, and it doesn't get dry or too flat even after coloring, and it keeps my hair shiny, which is nice. It also smells nice.
I also used the treatment to improve the color retention. It washed off easily and left my hair feeling clean and not sticky. The color lasted really well and my hair became smooth and soft without any shine. It leaves my hair smooth, so I recommend it for those who prefer a lighter finish. The scent was also refreshing. I wish it was a little cheaper.
I was worried that the color would not last long, and even if I always dyed my hair beautifully, it would fade quickly. I heard at the hair salon that using a shampoo and treatment for color would help it last longer, so I bought it. My hair is fine, thick, and long, below my chest. The scent is said to be sweet elegance fruity floral, but it's only a very faint scent. It doesn't lather as well as regular shampoos, so you may feel it's not enough at first. But it washes properly! I once ran out of it, and when I used regular shampoo after I had just dyed my hair, it faded and became lighter. Using it makes a difference in how long the color lasts. I feel like it's a little expensive, but it's essential to keep the color beautiful.
