It came with a spatula, but I don't have anywhere to store it, so I bought a disposable one and use that. It's difficult to decide on the amount, but even if I take too much, I can use it on my cheeks and neck, which tend to get dry. If you have dry skin, using a little more will keep your skin moisturized until morning. The lotion and this have restored my complexion, and the oxidation of the dark spots in my pores has faded, so I can really see the effects. I plan to buy again. It's good that there are refills.
