First of all, the scent was bad. It was a smell that was hard to describe, not like the smell of the oil itself. And for some reason, my eyes hurt even after rinsing them properly. I've been using it for two weeks, but I'm thinking of stopping using it.
This product can remove makeup without rubbing, so it's perfect for those who are afraid of friction but can't give up the refreshing feeling of oil. Just by placing it on the skin (I did rubbing it a little), it was enough to remove makeup. I thought the smell was similar to something, but it was the same as Biore's The Cleanse Oil Makeup Remover. I compared the ingredients list out of curiosity, and the ingredients and order of the list were almost the same. Both are from the Kao group and have the same product concept, so the only difference is that this one has diisostearyl malate and several types of plant extracts added. Of course, the same ingredients may be of different grades, but I don't know for sure. My skin felt less tight after washing than Biore, so I felt it was worth the difference in price.
It's smooth like water. I was surprised that it really removed my makeup without rubbing. It doesn't feel like a burden on my skin at all. It removes makeup well, but it doesn't make my skin feel tight. The grapefruit scent is also nice.
I received a sample, so I used it. As soon as I applied it to my face, the makeup started to float and came off smoothly. The liquid doesn't feel very thick, so some people may be concerned about the friction. Personally, I don't mind it because it comes off cleanly without having to swirl it around too much.
Before I even get into the cleansing power, it stings. My eyes hurt a lot and my skin feels tingly. It didn't suit me. For oil cleansers, Shu Uemura and Attenir are better.
