This is a fairly heavy hair oil, so I thought it would be best to apply it to the ends of my hair. When I applied it to the middle of my hair, it felt a bit sticky and heavy. However, it is a hair oil that does a good job of keeping my hair from frizzing or becoming wavy.
I used half of it. I've been using camellia oil and apricot oil as an out-of-bath treatment for about 20 years, but even using one drop too much makes it sticky, so I really had to be careful about the amount I used. But this is the easiest oil to use out of all the oils you can buy at a drugstore. I have a semi-long wave perm. I put about 4 drops on wet hair after shampooing, then use a hair dryer, and it doesn't get sticky. Sometimes the ends of my hair get a little caught. It doesn't get sticky, so I can use it as a styling product in the morning. Usually, 2 drops, but 3 drops when I want to make it a little more moist, gives a good finish. Since it's an oil, it's cost-effective, so I use it in combination with Moroccan oil. I've been interested in it for a long time, but I didn't buy it because I've had the experience of oils not disappearing if you make a mistake, but I wish I had bought it sooner.
It has tamed my coarse, curly, and flyaway hair!
