How To Use

I really like the consistency, spreadability, and scent of the cream. It feels like an old-fashioned ointment. (If I remember correctly, it's similar to Aesop's Facial Barrier Cream, which I think had a stronger ointment feel.) So far, I haven't experienced any dryness, but I haven't noticed any particular effects. My skin condition hasn't worsened. Some Neal's Yard products are like, "I can't love anyone but you," so I'm thinking I'll try using one up and see how it goes.

I've bought this many times. I've also used the intense cream a few times, but this cream spreads better and is easier to use. In winter, when my skin is extremely dry, I don't feel comfortable using it alone, so I use it in combination with oil. It's not sticky, so it's easy to use before applying makeup in the morning.

I usually use a face cream from another brand, but it was out of stock, so I bought this cream, which I've used before. It has a texture perfect for summer and spreads easily. It's a little sticky, but it keeps my skin moisturized until morning. The scent is subtle, so it feels almost fragrance-free. I'm the type of person who likes to be soothed by scent, so that's a bit disappointing. I recommend it for people who don't like strong smells.

Apparently this is a classic, long-selling cream from Neal's Yard. It gives me a sense of security, so I can't let it go. Neal's Yard has other good creams, and I'm sure other organic cosmetics manufacturers have good ones too, but I've gotten used to this scent and richness. It's not cheap, but many of the major domestic brands have products that cost over 10,000 yen, so this isn't particularly expensive, and it's a price I can stick with. Best of all, it contains 50 grams, and it's rich, so a little goes a long way and moisturizes my skin. So, I'll keep buying it.
