It's moisturizing, but the rose scent is too strong. I previously tried the Italian Honey scent, but I liked the moisturizing power, so I thought I'd give the rose scent a try this time. It's so powerful that it fills the entire bathroom, so if you're expecting a gentle, elegant rose scent, it may be a bit overwhelming. My skin feels consistently moisturized after washing.
