I found it worked best when I applied a generous amount, thickly, to the acne! I felt a slight tingling sensation, but it was fine for sensitive skin! Since it's called garlic, I wondered if it would smell like garlic, but I didn't notice any garlic scent at all!

When I apply it to specific areas of my skin, I don't feel any particular irritation, but when I spread it out, I can feel the strong tingling sensation of the reed cream. I like reed cream, so it's not a problem for me, but I still feel the tingling sensation when I spread other skin care products over this, or when I apply it at night and then wash my face in the morning. It doesn't have an immediate effect, but it does seem to help my acne subside a little faster. I'm glad I bought it! It doesn't have a garlic scent, so don't worry◎
