I have sensitive and oily skin. Sunscreens and primers sometimes give me headaches or make me nauseous, and I just can't get enough. I usually finish my skin with DHC's "Germanium CC" color control base (SPF50 primer) and powder. However, DHC's "Germanium CC" is only available online, and I needed it quickly and locally, so I purchased this primer, which advertises itself as being for sensitive skin. It doesn't make me nauseous, dry out my skin, or irritate it, and it doesn't even feel like it's irritating my skin. It's a pretty good product compared to other products on the market! It feels like it's designed for sensitive skin. It spreads smoothly. It lasts about two months on me. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and provides average color control. It doesn't hide blemishes. It only brightens the skin tone. However, DHC's "Germanium CC" is so much better, I probably won't buy it again.

It provides a subtle color and coverage, so it's a primer that I think would be enough for work days.

The texture is a light cream. It's skin-toned, but when you apply it, it lightly tones up the skin without providing coverage. I finished using my SK-II beige and was browsing the drugstore looking for a cheaper alternative, and I found this. It's not powdery, and when I tried it on the back of my hand, I thought it was good and didn't crease, so I bought it. The formula is simple, so it seems like it would be fine for sensitive skin that's sensitive. It says to apply foundation as a primer, but it adheres well enough to be used as a primer for powder foundation, and it doesn't provide coverage that makes it a no-foundation affair. lol I could get by without foundation with SK-II...

It applies as if you're spreading a cream. The first thing I noticed was the shimmering pearl-like sparkle. It's very light, so it doesn't cover blemishes. I didn't really notice the scent. It says skincare, so maybe that's what they focused on (if you're just looking for coverage and long-lasting coverage, I think something else would be better). I prefer the hand cream I pre-ordered at the same time.
