Description
(1) Oil-blended powder melts on contact — no creasing, no patchiness, no tugging
(2) Multi-texture four-shade layout creates dimensional eye looks without layering skill
(3) High-luminosity pearl delivers wet-look shine without glitter fallout or chunky shimmer
The LUNASOL Eye Coloration N is the eyeshadow Japanese beauty editors reach for when they want to describe what it actually feels like when a palette performs at its best. The powder is airy but not loose — it spreads without any resistance and disappears into the eyelid rather than sitting on top of it. Each four-shade lineup is engineered around one idea: that color, shadow, and light should coexist without any single shade fighting the others. The result on the eye is dimensional without being overdone — a kind of soft depth that reads as your eyes on a very good day. Three powder textures appear across each palette (a high-gloss oil-pearl finish, a mid-range satin, and a subtle matte shade for depth), and the arrangement makes it almost impossible to over-apply or produce a muddy result. With over 20 shades in the permanent line — from warm orange-beige and dusty mauve to cool smoky quartz and grape — plus seasonal limited editions that routinely sell out, this is the kind of palette that becomes a long-term repurchase rather than a single experiment.

Ingredients
(1) High-density adhesive oils: bind powder to the eyelid for all-day wear without slipping
(2) Multi-size high-luminosity pearl particles: calibrated by size and ratio for depth and 3D dimension
(3) Translucent shadow pigments: sheer, non-opaque shadow shades that add depth without muddying tone
(4) Fine-milled color pigments: ultra-soft base colors that spread evenly with a single pass
(5) Oil-rich formula base: gives the high-gloss shades their signature wet, reflective surface

How To Use
How To Use
Open the LUNASOL Eye Coloration N compact and begin with the largest, lightest shade: sweep it across the entire eyelid and up to the brow bone using a fluffy brush or your fingertip. This sets the base tone and ensures an even canvas. Next, press the shimmer or pearl shade — typically the brightest in the palette — directly onto the center of the lid or the inner corner using your fingertip for maximum impact. Follow with the mid-tone shade blended through the crease and outer corner using a dome brush, working in gentle circular motions. Finally, use the darkest shade sparingly along the lash line or outer V to define depth. For a simpler everyday look, the lightest and shimmer shades alone are sufficient — the palette is designed to work beautifully at every level of layering.
Q: How many shades does the LUNASOL Eye Coloration N come in?
A: The LUNASOL Eye Coloration N currently has over 20 permanent shades — including Nostalgic Time, Urban Classic, Scented Haze, Smoky Quartz, Mahogany, Morning Glow, and Neo Depth among others — plus a rotating selection of limited EX shades released seasonally. Each palette contains four complementary shades in a single compact.
Q: What makes the LUNASOL Eye Coloration N formula different from other eyeshadow palettes?
A: The Eye Coloration N uses an oil-rich powder formula that bonds to the eyelid more like a skin-care texture than a traditional pressed powder. This means it blends without effort, does not crease during the day, and leaves a finish that looks as though light is coming from inside the eyelid rather than sitting on its surface. The high-luminosity pearl in the shimmery shades is also oil-soaked rather than dry-pressed, which eliminates the fallout and patchiness common in conventional shimmer eyeshadows.
Q: Is the LUNASOL Eye Coloration N suitable for hooded or oily eyelids?
A: Yes, particularly for hooded lids — the oil-adhesion formula grips the eyelid well and resists migration into the crease. For very oily lids, applying an eyeshadow primer first will help extend wear, as with any powder eyeshadow.
Q: How do I choose between the different shades?
A: Each LUNASOL Eye Coloration N shade is built around a color theme and mood rather than a single hue. Warm undertones tend to gravitate toward shades like 01 Nostalgic Time (soft matte orange-beige), 08 Autumn Mellow, and 13 Sepia Amber. Cool undertones often suit 02 Bitter Romance (smoky pink), 12 Smoky Quartz, and 19 Ash Moon. The LUNASOL website and official online store include a shade finder tool based on desired finish and eye look.
Q: Are the limited EX shades of the LUNASOL Eye Coloration N restocked?
A: Limited EX shades are produced in finite quantities and are generally not restocked once sold out. Past limited shades have occasionally reappeared in subsequent seasons, but this is not guaranteed. If an EX shade is available, it is worth purchasing promptly.

ex09 Unknown Spring: It's fun to change the impression by choosing blue-purple, mauve brown, or red grape mauve pink as the main color. Mixing two or three colors won't dull the look, and you can subtly show through the color of your eyelids while still creating your desired color. The highlighter white (with pink and yellow pearl) isn't just pearl white, which is great. It's beautiful to add it as a highlight after applying a mauve pink to the outer corner of your eye, closer to the bridge of your nose, or to your lower lid. After finishing the overall look, layering a cream single eyeshadow like Polarized Blue or Addiction Prism in the center of your upper lid is also beautiful as a topping. Lunasol's Eye Coloration N series is easy to blend and has a sheer finish, making it good for natural makeup. However, I was a little hesitant about the color's intense color, as it didn't build up much even when layered. However, using a firm, dense brush with this product allows for a relatively strong application. This is a cool-toned summer muted palette. The ease of use of the color scheme and the beautiful glitter make this a highly recommended palette. ex14 Tea Rose: Pearl pink, pale grayish mauve, mauve pink, and orange-brown with blue glitter. The color scheme evokes the image of tea, exuding a gentle and calming feel. Pale grayish mauve is a favorite color for muted summers, and it's easy to use because it gives off a dull tone. The two pinks are vibrant and vibrant, perfect for spring. The blue glitter in the mid-tone brown also makes it stylish, preventing it from looking like a typical pink-mauve look.
I purchased EX14 Tea Rose. This is my first purchase since the Eye Coloration revamp. At first, I thought the only thing that changed was the price, but then I learned from other people's reviews that the palette size had also gotten a little bigger. I didn't notice until I compared them. Simply that alone made me feel like I got a good deal. lol I purchased Tea Rose online without seeing the actual product. I initially fell in love with the top and bottom shades on the left, so I didn't have high expectations for the top and bottom shades on the right. So when I saw the actual product, the four shades were so cute, my excitement and joy multiplied many times over. In the photo, the shade on the right looked like beige and a yellowish brown, but in person, the top right was a pale mauve pink, and the bottom right was a beautiful mauve brown with elegant blue shimmer. I never expected the shade on the right, which I wasn't expecting, to be so adorable! I'm so thrilled. Of course, the two shades on the left were as expected (or maybe even better). They have a sophisticated, mature tone, but also a cute color combination. The pink-white with pink glitter on the top left and the lilac pink on the bottom left, which was my favorite, are both very cute. I love how simply applying the top right across my eyelids and tightening the crease of my eyes with the bottom right creates a well-made look. On my days off, I layer the lilac pink on the bottom left to create a gradient, then dab the pink glitter on the top left in the center of my eyelids. It's spring makeup, and I feel so happy and full of energy. I was a little nervous about purchasing without seeing the actual product, but this purchase turned out to be truly satisfying. Lunasol's eye palette looks like it's filled with lots of glitter at first glance, but when you actually apply it, the color shines and shines on the skin of your eyelids, which is very appealing. I'm looking forward to seeing more palettes with color combinations perfect for welcoming the new season.
The pink color and sparkling glitter are cute. Lunasol is a reliable eyeshadow so I will continue to buy it.
