While browsing through various spring cosmetics, I noticed that many gray eyeshadow palettes had been released, so I decided to try smoky eye makeup for the first time in a while and bought this one. It's a sheer, easy-to-wear gray. As you'd expect from Addiction, it adheres very well. I tried applying it to the back of my hand to compare it to other products and it was completely different. I'm hooked on combining it with the deep bluish-pink eyeshadow I already have, as it's so cute. I use the three colors carefully, being careful not to mix them. Simply applying a thin layer to the eye socket creates a defined, deep look. I'm happy with the fresh eye makeup look.

I bought this because Kaori Nagai recommended it. The smoky plum makeup she suggests really resonates with me. Being a warm-toned, autumn-toned skin tone, I've been drawn to gray and plum shades, which I'd normally skip! I'm also impressed by the evolution of cosmetics and the smoky plum makeup she suggests! This limited-edition shade looks very gray, which initially put me off, but it blends in nicely on my skin. It gives off a greige-like color. It doesn't look like I've been punched, lol. The sheerness creates a stylish look for your eyes. I haven't been able to purchase the plum shade yet, but it's cute on its own, and it's really broadening my makeup options and making eyeshadow fun! As a result, I've fallen into the eyeshadow swamp, even though I've always used the same eyeshadow. It's been years since I've had so much fun with eyeshadow. Makeup is fun, and I'm excited to be able to have more freedom. And at my age, I'm starting to feel like I need department store brands for eyeshadow.

I bought this after watching Misato Mizukoshi's YouTube channel. I thought it was a lighter shade, but if you apply too much it turns out purple. It's probably best to apply it lightly.

This is a recommended eyeshadow for when you want to add a translucent look. The color is not too strong and is easy to adjust. It gives off a nice, natural look. I think cool-toned people would go well with purple eyeshadow.
