One By Kose Serum Veil Emulsion Refill, 115ml

I don't usually use lotions, but when I tried this one, I thought, "Hey, lotions are great!" It's thick and feels good to apply. It's not unpleasantly sticky. Even my hands became shiny after applying it to my face. It's a shame that the 24mL bottle is difficult to remove the contents.

I have extremely dry skin with extremely low levels of oil and moisture. After washing my face, my skin becomes dry and wrinkled, so I immediately apply a serum at the sink. Because my skin is thin, I knew it needed to be able to retain moisture, so I researched various emulsions. After trying the same Serum Veil lotion, I found it to be extremely hydrating, so I decided to use the entire line. The simple bottle makes it a little difficult to dispense the emulsion, but it blends comfortably into my skin, and I can really feel the moisture permeating it. Age spots, wrinkles, sagging skin, and other skin concerns are common in people in their 50s, but I feel like other skin concerns won't go away unless I address dryness first. I use this product almost as a prayer to keep my skin hydrated. I'll continue to use this during the dry season.

I like it because it's very moisturizing. I usually have dry skin, so I often find myself feeling dry even when it hasn't been that long since I started using this lotion, but since I started using it, I've noticed that it's much less noticeable.

My most essential skincare item isn't toner or serum, but emulsion. It balances moisture and oil in one product, leaving my skin feeling moisturized and soft, so emulsion is a must-have, no matter how tired I am. I've used a variety of emulsions, from budget brands to department store brands, but this one is my current favorite. Its rich texture deeply hydrates my skin, leaving it plump and supple. I discovered this product when I was suffering from severe dry skin, and my skin has improved ever since discovering this toner and emulsion. I trust it so much that I no longer fear any dryness that may come my way! The reason I gave it six stars is because of the strong scent. It's a very soothing scent I love, but it's quite strong, so those sensitive to scents may need to be careful. (I wish it had a similar scent to the toner...)

It was recommended to me by a beauty advisor! I usually use the emulsion from the salon I go to, but I ran out over the holidays, so I bought this as a stopgap. I went to a nearby drugstore and was unsure what to buy when the beauty advisor called me over. I explained the above and she recommended this product. She said it can be used on sensitive skin. I think the moisturizing power is just as good as the salon product. I bought the mini version at the time, but it was so good I bought the full bottle here. I'll use one bottle and then decide whether to continue using it.
